About Us

Barton Elementary operates on a traditional schedule. As a proud Turnaround Arts school, Barton offers students unique opportunities to learn and express themselves through the arts. This year, Barton is expanding its commitment to innovation and creativity with the introduction of a full STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The staff provides a rigorous instructional program for students in TK through sixth grade, with specially designed classes for children who are developmentally delayed and require specially modified instruction. Barton features a full-time dance teacher, in addition to our art and music teachers, ensuring students experience a rich visual, performing, and movement-based arts education. Also, includes Barton’s Sunrise Program and EXL have been recognized as among the best!
